Bio
Volleyball has been an important part of Megan’s life for a long time. Her career as a player ended after graduation from Gwynedd Mercy College. Immediately following graduation, Megan helped to start the women’s volleyball program at Hatboro Horsham High School and was integral in developing the foundations of the program in its inaugural two seasons. While coaching at Hatboro, Megan met Bryan and their journey of coaching various club teams as a pair began. Megan briefly returned to her alma mater as an assistant coach, and later served as an assistant coach alongside Bryan with Emmanuel College in Massachusetts - both Division 3 programs. Megan also brings a plethora of volleyball camp experience, from many summers coaching for Push the Rock in Emmaus, to running developmental camps during her tenure at Hatboro.
Megan’s training as a special educator helps her bring a unique perspective to the game, as she has a passion for breaking down skills, advancing technique, and teaching the game in a way that allows players to rise to their potential. She has a strong desire to coach the whole person, not just the volleyball player, and strives to instill the concept of thinking outside yourself and that success comes as a unit.
Outside of volleyball, Megan loves family adventures that give her daughters a variety of experiences. She especially enjoys rooting for the Flyers and Eagles, as well as a good beach getaway.
