About Us

Our Story

Sky Performance Volleyball Academy was founded in the fall of 2023 in response to a need in our area for a volleyball club focused on meaningful player development. The idea began through conversations with high school athletes who shared frustrations with their experiences in the traditional club volleyball system. We saw an opportunity to create something different—a positive environment where athletes could develop their skills while feeling valued, supported, and known. At SPVA, we believe athletes should be more than a number. We take the time to build strong relationships with our players and focus on developing the whole athlete, both mentally and physically.

Since our founding, SPVA has experienced steady growth while staying grounded in the principles that guide our program. We started with two teams in our first year, grew to five teams in Year 2, six teams in Year 3, and expect to have 8–9 teams this year. As we have grown, our commitment to player development and a strong team culture has remained at the center of everything we do. We strive to build a program where athletes know and support one another, even when they play on different teams. Our players train alongside athletes from other teams, and our coaches work with athletes throughout the program—not just the players on their assigned team.

At the heart of SPVA is a belief that volleyball should help young women grow both as athletes and as people. We prioritize connection, support, accountability, and continuous improvement while creating an environment where every athlete has the opportunity to grow. As we look toward the future, our goal is simple: to continue helping young girls develop their skills, build confidence, and become strong, well-rounded people both on and off the court.

Our Mission

At Sky Performance Volleyball Academy, we are committed to developing athletes into hardworking, confident, and respectful teammates. Our goal is to provide an environment where players deepen their understanding of volleyball and life, fostering a lifelong passion for the sport.

Our Philosophy

Development

We focus on long-term athlete development rather than short-term results.

Competition

We challenge athletes to compete, adapt, and perform under pressure.
