Bio

Mike is the Director and Founder of SPVA, which was established in 2023 with the goal of providing a positive, growth-oriented club experience for local athletes. Before founding SPVA, Mike started the Boyertown High School girls’ volleyball program 10 years ago, quickly transforming it into a competitive team. Under his coaching and with the support of a dedicated coaching staff, the program consistently reached the District One Playoffs, winning two PAC titles in 2020 and 2021. Mike also coaches the 16 Galaxy team.

With over 30 years of coaching experience across multiple sports and levels, Mike is dedicated to building a team culture rooted in effort, dedication, and personal growth. He believes that success is not defined by wins and losses, but by the commitment and positive attitude each player brings to their role. For Mike, the ultimate goal is to help athletes navigate challenges both in sports and in life, developing resilience and teamwork along the way.

In his free time, Mike enjoys vacationing with his family.
